Nintendo Wii: The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess “The Basics” Guide.
When you feel like throwing the controller at the screen, remember this: The principle of Occam’s Razor applies to each and every Zelda game. In other words, when presented with several possibilities, the simplest solution is usually the correct one. Pay attention to the items you get from smashing vases or boxes and the “theme” item earned in each dungeon. If you find yourself totally stuck, take time to play a mini-game or run side quests and let your head clear. It sounds obvious, but you’d be surprised how many solutions a little frustration will make you overlook. Of course, remember to check your map! Careful study of the area you’re in will help to show you the correct path. If you’re stuck in an area, use Z-targeting to see what you can latch on to or affect with the Clawshot, boomerang or arrows. Also, try using A to roll or dash into objects rather than using a weapon.
